Digital marketing & PR for long-standing Salisbury charity
Childrens Chance is a long-standing Salisbury-based charity, dedicated to giving local children access to enriching experiences such as school trips, music lessons, and other extracurricular activities. For over 27 years, the charity has supported hundreds of local young people by providing financial awards to families facing economic hardship.
The brief
Following a rise in donations, Childrens Chance was keen to increase awareness of its support offerings and encourage more applications from eligible families and local groups. The objective was clear: reach more local people, especially those unaware of the charity’s support, and drive applications for funding.
The solution
We were delighted to develop an integrated campaign combining digital strategy with grassroots community outreach. We created three social ads and segmented audiences by age group and role. Tailoring them to parents of primary and secondary school aged children, as well as caregivers like teachers and club leaders, each ad group used bespoke messaging. Using Google Ads’ non-profit grant we also ran highly targeted search ads for those looking for funding support in the Salisbury area, maximising visibility without a media charge.
We took a direct and targeted approach to reach schools, clubs and organisations across Salisbury and the surrounding area, contacting them to provide staff with a digital leaflet containing all the information needed to share with relevant families. We also created a bespoke press release and distributed this to the local media, spreading the word and reinforcing trust throughout the community.

An incredible start to the campaign and a huge difference made for local children. We’ve supported Childrens Chance to deliver over £20,000 in awards – an impressive 67% increase from last year’s total of £12,000 – all achieved within just the first three months of our marketing efforts.
