When Webbs approached Landon Marketing and Design, they had no online presence.

Since then, we have achieved a top of page Google ranking, outperforming their competitors for keyword searches that get in excess of 100,000 searches per month.

The brief

The brief was clear – to move the client from traditional marketing channels, to more dynamic, cost-effective digital channels that would deliver a direct return on investment.

Webbs were not displaying within the top 200 search results within Google. Online presence was limited, with some unmanaged PPC activity and an underused social media profile.

Webbs have two different products, motorhomes and caravans. It was clear from the outset that they wanted to rank highly for both, despite being more known for their motorhomes. We recognised the importance of getting a headstart on competitors by establishing a strong Google ranking quickly, causing the competition to play catch-up.




The results

Many years on, we’ve achieved the brief, and more, attracting over 65,000 visitors to the website every month. We are responsible for Webbs’ entire digital presence and we continue to enjoy a strong relationship with the client.

Website design

We created a new responsive, mobile-friendly WordPress website design for Webbs, with the following functionality:

  • content management system (CMS) web design, allowing employees to update their own content
  • dynamic search that displays real-time results as the user adjusts their search criteria
  • ability to print products for customers to take away
  • mailchimp email integration, automatically adding email addresses from the website, segmenting them and populating the mailing list
  • book a vehicle service or repair online

Marketing work

Having launched the website, we implemented a search engine optimisation (SEO) marketing strategy, creating ethical inbound links from industry-related websites, and optimising on-site content.

We continue to implement search engine optimisation (SEO), as well as PPC marketing, email marketing, online display advertising and social media advertising and management including facebook ads targeted by interest and previous website visitors.
